Unused vintage Southwest Carved Figure postage stamps from 1989 - face value is 25¢ each.
Members of the Postal Union of the Americas and Spain (PUAS) joined to dedicate an international series of stamps. The series was designed to familiarize the people of the member nations with one another. The first issues honor the Native Americans who existed prior to Columbus' arrival in the New World. The carved figure on the stamp is from the Mimbres, a Southwest Indian culture.
You will receive 25 total stamps all in mint condition. Perfect for wedding envelopes, postcards, birthday invitations or other occasions! They also look great for scrapbooking, decoupage and other craft projects!
